DS1/DS3 (T1/T3)
The standard for stable high speed internet access. Also referred
to as T1, these circuits
offer speeds up to 1.54 Megabits per second. T1 circuits were
originally designed to reduce congested New York City phone wiring
which were filling up underground conduits. T1 uses four wires,
for 24 phone lines. Each phone line can support 64Kbps of
bandwidth, and once all 24 channels are bonded together, the T1
can deliver 1.54Mbps.
Other products include DS3 (T3), which are 30 DS1s providing
45Mbps. Let's face it, if you're in
the market for DS3, buying it from a local ISP is not a good
choice. We'll be happy to assist you in acquiring one
nonetheless.
Is this right for me? Give us your telephone exchange, we
can determine a price, as distance from the Telco office is a
large determining factor. T1 is very stable, however a bit
costlier than other solutions. This is the solution for high
speed, mission critical internet access.

DSL
The digital subscriber line offers a variety of
speeds from 144Kbps up to 1.54 Megabits per second, depending on
your needs, and/or distance from phone company point of presence.
DSL can either be symetrical, (SDSL), the same upload and download
speeds or asymetrical, (ADSL), with download speeds being faster
than upload.
Our DSL out-performs the competition, (including the phone
company's product!). We can often service areas which others
cannot, and/or deliver faster speeds.
Is this right for me? Give us your telephone number and
address, we can determine available speeds and pricing. DSL is
as stable as T1, but at a much lower cost.

ISDN
Originally designed for the video telephone, ISDN lines are
two digital phone lines. Depending on your needs, connect at
either 128Kbps, or with only one line at 64Kbps. When properly
provisioned, ISDN can also be used as a conventional phone line.
Because ISDN is digital, internet connections are made within
a few seconds, and are more than double the speed of modems.
ISDN always connects at no less than 64Kbps per channel,
so there's no connection speed "Roulette".
Is this right for me? ISDN is almost always
available in areas which have regular phone service. Give us
your telephone exchange to be sure. ISDN connections for
business service must be "tweeked" to insure connections are not
too excessive, (i.e. $0.085 per call). Use ISDN if DSL is not
available in your area.

56k Dialup
The staple of basic internet access. We offer premier dial-up
access for the greater Grand Rapids area.
Is this right for me? If you have a phone and a computer,
you can usually connect to the internet using dialup. If your needs
are low, you're on the fringe of town, or monthly cost is of
concern, dialup is the correct choice. Unfortunately, there's no
speed or stability guarentees with dialup connections. With
connection speeds which can vary between 9.6Kbps to 52Kbps,
depending on distance from the Telco, premise wiring, modem brand,
current wheather conditions, sun spots, (and only heaven knows what
else!), it's still one of the most popular access solutions!

Web Design
It's hard to find a good web designer. Over the years we've
been through our share. Most all of our web designers are on
staff. Ask them how to make a new, or better web presence for
your business, group or organization.
Beware of the freelance web designer!
Most freelance web designers that show up on
your door are hungry. They come, (many perform, and many
don't), and then they're gone. The next time you need them,
their phone is disconnected.
Many have one thing in common. -- They want to move your
domain!
Your domain is much more than your web site!
There's only one reason a designer wants to move your domain:
To suppliment their income by playing middle-man with the
hosting fees you pay for your domain. Either by billing you
directly, or by kick-backs from the hosting company. In the
end, you end up with a watered down service, and a web
designer who makes money off from you, by doing absolutely
nothing.
We at DNX can support most any web hosting need that
is required by mankind. You don't need your site hosted
anywhere else!
